Purple Pulse – My Yahoo!
Finally Yahoo! has come out with the new and improved version of the first attempt at personalization on the web – My Yahoo! I used to always wonder why such a great property was never given the sort of attention it deserved. The NetVibes and iGoogles of the world came in much later.

But finally the much needed overhaul is done and My Yahoo! is looking great and is definitely worth a try. I am already hooked on to it after trying it out… It’s got all the makings of a great property:
It’s easy to use,
ajax driven seamless UI,
it’s got come slick layouts and colour options (am always a stickler for these shallow trappings!!),
it allows you to embed Y! Messenger and Gmail as well which is very useful,
also allows you to share specific modules and the page with friends

Quite a departure from the cumbersome UI and tacky layouts of the previous avatar. I could never get around to using the earlier version but hope to be prolific with this one!
