Mahindra Rodeo RZ lets you 'Do More' on its Website

The two-wheeler market is buzzing with action, celeb endorsement wars to new products hitting the market every month.

Mahindra Rodeo RZ is the latest scooter on the block. The
Rodeo RZ Brand Website is similar in layout to the Duro DZ site. Maybe that’s a template Mahindra follows for their two-wheeler products, which is not a bad thing, as long as it is rendered well.  



 
From a creative standpoint, I actually like the Duro DZ site better than this one and that’s not saying much. Somehow the Rodeo RZ site looks pared down and basic from the fonts to the creative elements used. These could have been taken a notch higher.

That said, the site does efficiently pack in all the required content and features. There are videos, images, social plugs, reviews, detailed specs and product feature detailing.

The Let’s Do More Mashup is a neat idea which employs Facebook Connect and has engaging elements like the Ride Away plug that lets you select a State in India and tells you about a couple of places worth ‘riding away to’. The Cool Rider quiz that tells you your riding quotient and My Rodeo RZ Design Studio lets you play around with colours and textures and make your own version. All elements are shareable on Facebook.  

 

All in all, a nice execution that could have been a lot better. It had nothing lacking from an idea standpoint.

BTW, I love the on-the-go mobile charger and colourful digital dashboard on the Rodeo RZ – where were these things when we rode scooters!
