Garnier Men India has many reasons to celebrate On Facebook
Garnier
Men achieved the 1million fan milestone on Facebook today. Great day to do this
post.
Garnier Men’s Oil Clear Face Wash was recently voted as the Product of the Year by a Nielsen Product Innovation survey and to celebrate the achievement, the brand created a contest application on its Facebook Page late last month. On the Garnier Pixel contest application page, fans could claim pixels and tag three friends (which created the viral element). The contest is now closed and winners have been announced.
The concept was similar to what we saw for ESPN’s My Country My Cheer Facebook application though in my opinion the ESPN execution was more evolved and thought through, creatively.
I really like the Desktop Weather Widget (currently live for download) which takes Garnier Men's ‘no sweat’ communication and puts a spin on it. The branded widget is utilitarian as it tells you the weather in your city complete with temperature & humidity and suggests a skin care tip & related Garnier products to use. The widget looks slick and you wouldn’t mind having it on your desktop.
The Facebook Brand page is well managed with prolific posts mostly with practical shareable tips around Men’s grooming, engagement through quick games and updates from across Garnier Men’s product range.
Do you like it as much as I do?
